CNG stations to close for 24 hours from Friday

KARACHI: All CNG stations in Karachi and interior of Sindh will remain closed for 24 hours from 9 am on Friday till 9:am on Saturday.

According to an announcement of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) here on Wednesday, this step is being taken by the gas utility to improve the line pack position all over its franchise area, which has been badly disturbed due to increased domestic gas load during the current winter season, SSGC said.

SSGC said it was taking all actions to ensure uninterrupted gas supply and a stable pressure. In this regard, the management has requested all stakeholders to fully support the company in handling low pressure situation more effectively.
