Senate body discusses what issues to take up next

ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunications Thursday  discussed issues and matters to be taken up by the Committee in coming months.

The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Senator Rubina Khalid while Senators Sana Jamali, Rukhsana Zuberi, Abdur Rehman Malik and Dr. Ashok Kumar also attended the meeting.

The Committee decided to take follow-up on collection of tax by government from mobile network operators, work of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Employees Trust (PTET), cyber crimes law and its application.
