After Nawaz, Maryam starts recording statement in Avenfield case

Deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz started on Thursday recording her statement in the Avenfield reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to local media reports, Maryam said that the Joint Investigation Team's report was irrelevant to the reference filed by the NAB. Maryam, her father Nawaz and husband Captain (retd) Safdar all appeared before the accountability court today.
Judge Muhammad Bashir is conducting the corruption cases against the Sharif family. For three consecutive days, Nawaz had been recording his statement in the Avenfield corruption reference and answered the questionnaire which contained more than 100 questions.
Nawaz completed recording his statement on Wednesday, after which his daughter has started recording her testimony during the proceedings today. Safdar is expected to record his statement after Maryam.
