Uber users can now rate their driver in between trips

Ride-hailing service Uber is taking on a new approach by letting its users rate their drivers and leave comments in

Ride-hailing service Uber is taking on a new approach by letting its users rate their drivers and leave comments in between the trips.

Users now won’t have to wait to rate their drivers until the end of the ride, as Uber is introducing a new feature that will let users give their feedback in between the trip. The company said in its blog post, “You’ve got places to go and things to do, and we never want to miss an opportunity to listen and improve.”

Initially, Uber customers had to rate and compliment their drivers after their trip ends but now, as Tech Radar explains, users are being given the ability to rate, compliment, tip and even share positive or negative feedback about the driver while the ride is still in progress.

Uber now offers special rides to take care of your health

From these mid-trip ratings, the firm plans to take feedback on what ‘needs improvement’ in order to evaluate its services and look for hidden issues that needs resolving and also recognize the good stuff done by drivers.

The new feature is a part of a larger push by Uber for enhancing the rider’s and the driver’s experience. The company claims to add more new products within few weeks.

However, the new option is still an option and if the user does not wish to rate the driver mid-trip, they can simply choose not to, wrote Fortune.
