Sarfraz Ahmed reveals Babar Azam weakness in Test cricket

Pakistan top order batsman Babar Azam, has made a name for himself as major prospect for Pakistan cricket in a relatively short span of time, the youngster however has not been able to exhibit the same level of success in the game’s longest format- Test cricket.

“I believe that he (Babar Azam) doesn’t play his natural game in Test cricket,” opined Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed, while talking to cricket analyst Ramiz Raja.

“I always talk to him saying play according to your game, attack when you get the deliveries. As it will give you confidence,” said Sarfraz.

The skipper however gave the top order batsman 10/10, after his strong showing in international cricket. Azam is currently ranked the number one T20I batsman.

Meanwhile, talking about other teammates, Sarfraz gave full points to fast bowler Hasan Ali and leg spinner Shadab Khan, praising the bowling duo for their rapid rise in a short time.

“I will 10/10 to Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan, because these two are making their position in the side, and are improving day by day. When we look at Hasan Ali’s performance in one and a half year, he has been quite impressive, becoming our strike bowler,” said Sarfraz.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will play two Tests against England at Lord’s from May 24 to May 28 and Headingley from June 1 to June 5.
