Ireland have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan in the historic Test match being played at Dublin’s Malahide cricket ground on Saturday.

Ireland has become just the 11th nation to play men’s Test cricket as they face Pakistan at Dublin.

The first day of the game was washed out due to rain without any cricketing activity. The match will now be a four-day Test with follow-on imposed on the teams to be of 150 runs rather than 200.

From Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf and Imam ul Haq are making their Test debut. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi handed them their Test caps.
