Wahab Riaz to undergo surgery

Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz will undergo a nose surgery that is expected to take place on April 28, because of which he has been ruled out of the upcoming Pakistan Cup.

As per media reports, Riaz’s nose had been causing him problems since a considerable time and has been advised to undergo the surgery. Riaz has also been advised at least two weeks of rest.

Riaz wasn’t included in the Test squad for the upcoming Ireland and England tour and was set to play for Punjab in the Pakistan Cup. However, his surgery would rule him out of the entire domestic one-day tournament, which will begins from today (Wednesday) and conclude on May 6.
