TORONTO: Toronto's main stock index tumbled nearly 200 points on Wednesday, its biggest drop in two weeks, as mining and energy shares were hit by a stronger US dollar and a selloff in commodities.
The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index unoffically ended down 198.26 points, or 1.66 percent, at 11,728.41.
