FPCCI hails statements of Tax Ombudsman on rebates   

KARACHI: President FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour has hailed the statement of Federal Tax Ombudsman urging Federal Board of Revenue to provide maximum relief to exporters by simplifying and expediting its tax collection and payment of rebate or refunds system.

Exporters have been waiting for last three years for the payment of rebate claims of billions, he said in a statement issued by Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry here on Friday.

Exporters were back bone of Pakistan economy and contributed billion of rupees in foreign exchange. They deserved better treatment by FBR, he said.
