TORONTO: Canada's main stock index opened little changed on Wednesday, supported by gains in Manulife Financial and the banking sector, as well as a bounce-back in shares of cannabis companies.
Shortly after the opening bell, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index rose 16.37 points, or 0.11 percent, to 15,380.3.
