HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares rose more than one percent in the morning session Wednesday, paring some of the huge losses suffered the day before as investors tracked a sharp recovery in New York.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.26 percent, or 386.29 points, to 30,981.71 by the break.
