Ghulam Nabi leads in Bank Al Habib golf

The round 2 of Bank Al Habib's Rashid D. Habib Golf Tournament at Karachi Golf Club Karsaz witnessed top golfers of Pakistan struggling with their expertise and supported by luck for achieving the top position in the tournament. The weather continued to be windy and chilly during the morning. However the sunshine raised the mercury as the day proceeded. Excellent course with good fairways and good greens increased the golfers' enjoyment.
Muhammad Munir of Islamabad and Afsar Ali of Karachi Port Trust scored the best today with 66 each. However, Shabbir Iqbal of Pakistan Navy continued to stay at top with Gross of 137. Pakistan's former national golf champion Ghulam Nabi continued to lead with gross of 147 for seniors category. The third and final round for Professionals of Bank Al Habib's Rashid D. Habib Memorial Professional Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday with top 40 golfers from previous rounds competing.
Vice Admiral Abbas Raza HI (M), President KGC and ComKar, Pakistan Navy will witness the final moments and will distribute the prizes amongst the lucky winners. Bank Al Habib has offered attractive prize money of Rs 1,000,000 and many features. In addition to the prize money, the Bank will be paying the top 5 rated professionals in the country Rs 50,000 each to encourage their participation.-PR
