Former Advisor to Prime Minister, Dr Israr Shah on Sunday demanded of the government to constitute a Truth Commission from independent judiciary to investigate the extra-ordinary increase in assets of ruling elite, their relatives and friends.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the assets must be made public and money brought to country as 97 billion dollars are deposited in foreign accounts. Dr Israr said in some TV Talkshows the impression was given that he was blessed by the Party and President Asif Ali Zardari. He said he fought at ideological front for forty years due to which Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari entrusted him the responsibility of party organisation.
