Another four people have lost their lives due to dengue virus in Punjab raising the death toll due to this deadly virus to 327 including 283 in Lahore. According to the report released by the Health Department Punjab, as many as 69 confirmed dengue patients have been reported in Punjab out of them, 32 patients were reported in Lahore. The total number of dengue patients in Punjab has risen to 20933 out of whom 17288 belong to Lahore.
As per information, 417 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals in Punjab out of which 290 were under treatment in different hospitals of Lahore. About 83 dengue patients have been cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore during the last 24 hours, which include 33 patients from Mayo Hospital, 03 from Services Hospital, 11 from Jinnah Hospital, 04 from Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, 24 from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, 5 from Said Mitha and 3 patients discharged from Mian Munshi Hospital. According to the report, so far 20602 dengue patients have been cured and discharged from different hospitals in Punjab out of them, 17252 patients cured and discharged from various hospitals of Lahore.
