Poor civic infrastructure badly affecting industrial production: HCCI
President Hyderabad Chamber of commerce & Industry HCCI Goharullah in his press statement has said that Industrial production was being affected due to broken and damaged roads in Industrial Estate Hyderabad while solid waste of the city is dumped and burnt near the industries, which causes harmful effects to the quality of the textile products.
He said that business community of Hyderabad is facing serious problems due to insufficient arrangements of cleanliness, drainage and sewerage in the area, causing serious problems of environment and pollution. He said that the students of Public School Latifabad No3 and residents living in its surrounding also suffered troubles due to damaged roads and unpleasant situation of cleanliness. Goharullah said that HCCI had pointed out several times about the sanitation situation the city in the industrial area and informed Commissioner Hyderabad, but, unfortunately, Commissioner Hyderabad did not solve these problems of the city as well as of business community.
He said that District Government dug the roads of Industrial Area to install water pipe line for Hashmi and Zeal Pak colony, but the roads have not been repaired as yet. HCCI President further said that the damaged roads are creating hurdles to the industrialists in distributing raw material and the manufactured products by heavy trucks. The Industrial community is working under hard situations. He further added that in case the Commissioner Hyderabad could not solve the problems of business community they reserve the right to lodge serious protest against the current situation of damaged infrastructure in SITE area and general sanitation condition in Hyderabad city.
