KARACHI: The business community has hailed the appointment of Miftah Ismail as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs.
It in a statement said here on Wednesday that this appointment augurs well for the business community.
The patron-in-chief of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), S.M. Munir, president Tariq Malik, senior vice- president Salman Aslam and vice-president Junaid Naqi hailed the appointment of Miftah Ismail and extended felicitations.
They were of the view that he would play an effective role towards the resolution of the challenges faced by the industries as well as reforms in the economic policies and overcoming the budget deficit. They also praised Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for appointing Miftah Ismail.
