Christians to celebrate Xmas in Sialkot

SIALKOT: Like other parts of the globe, the Christian community will celebrate Xmas with traditional zeal, enthusiasm and religious fervor in the district.

All churches in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Uggoki, Satrah, Pasrur, Badiana, Chawinda and surrounding areas have been illuminated to mark the day.

Christians will offer special prayers in all Churches for global peace, national integrity, solidarity and prosperity.

They will also cut the Christmas cakes, besides exchanging greeting and gifts during the special Xmas ceremonies. The district administration has made foolproof security arrangements in all churches of Sialkot district to avert any untoward incident.
