ISLAMABAD: Senator A Rehman Malik Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Sunday strongly condemned the terror attack on a Church in Quetta.
He expressed deep sorrows over the loss of precious lives and expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the victim families, a press release said.
He termed the attack on Christian community prior to the Christmas an attack on the whole country and a move to destabilize and defame Pakistan before the international community.
The senator asked the center and provincial governments to increase the security of churches across the country ahead of Christmas celebrations.
He appreciated the brave policemen and officers of Balochistan police for their prompt action.
He said police time action saved dozens of lives as the church was full of worshipers at the time of attack.
