LARKANA: Sindh Senior Minister for Food and Parliamentary Affairs Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, who is also the President of PPP Sindh chapter has said that 10th death anniversary of former prime minister and chairperson of PPP Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto will be observed in a respectable manner on December 27at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
This he said while presiding over a meeting to review the arrangements at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto (Larkana), on Saturday. He said that the name of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto is in the hearts of the people and a large number of people will come from all over the country to pay rich tributes to her.
Nisar Khuhro said that it is our responsibility to provide the required facilities to the visiting guests at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
The meeting was attended among others by MNA Nazir Ahmed Bughio, MNA Ramesh Lal, MPA Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, MPA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, MPA Muhammad Ali Bhutto, President PPP Larkana Division Mir Aijaz Jakhrani, President PPP Larkana district Abdul Fateh Bhutto, General Secretary PPP Larkana district Khair Muhammad Shaikh, District Information Secretary PPP Larkana Muhammad Ali Bughio, Mashooq Ali Jatoi, Members of the Mazar committee, Leaders of Peoples Party, besides Commissioner Larkana Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Kashif Ali Tipu, SSP Larkana Tanvir Tunio, Mayor Larkana Municipal Corporation Muhammad Aslam Shaikh, Regional and District Heads of various departments.
He also said that the facilities included accommodation, drinking water, cleanliness, lighting arrangements, ambulance service may be provided to the guests, as well as the patch work of different roads towards Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto may be ensured.
He said that it is our duty that the arrangements in this regard may be completed in all respect without any delay.
He also directed the district administration to ensure the cleanliness around public meeting Ground at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
On the occasion, President PPP Larkana district Abdul Fateh Bhutto briefed the Nisar Ahmed Khuhro regarding the arrangements being carried out by the district administration and party workers.
The representative of SEPCO/WAPDA also assured the meeting that stand-by generators will be arranged and where it would be necessary the lighting arrangements on the different roads would also be made.
During the meeting Commissioner Larkana Division Muhammad Abbas Baloch and Deputy Commissioner Larkana Kashif Ali Tipu briefed in detail regarding the facilities providing to the people included drinking water, cleanliness, accommodation, car parking, health facilities.
Control Rooms will be established at Commissioner Office, DC Office, SSP Office as well as at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto and all possible measures will be taken to ensure peaceful holding of public meeting.
