Lodhi wins title of Mr Asian Junior title

FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad student Muhammad Ahmad Khan Lodhi won the title of Mr Asian Junior in power weight lifting by winning four gold medals at the championship held in Singapore.

Muhammad Ahmad Khan defeated the players of Australia, New Zealand and other countries in power weight lifting championship and was declared Mr Asia under the junior category.

The University of Agriculture held a ceremony at the Institute of Agri Extension and Rural Development to greet Muhammad Ahmed Khan, presided over by Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar.

The VC congratulated the student for winning the crown of Mr Asian Junior and for bringing the good name for the country.

He said that such students are the pride not only for the UAF but also for the country.

Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Dr Ashfaq Maan, Chairman Sports Board Dr Muhammad Ashfaq, Director Institute Dr Khalid Mehmood and Assistant Director Sports Farooq Iqbal also spoke.
