Shahbaz calls on Kayani

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on late Sunday night, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, the meeting between CM Punjab and COAS took place after Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (Q) inked power-sharing deal.
Quoting unnamed sources the channel said that military establishment briefed CM Punjab about its point of view with regard to the criticism of intelligence agencies especially DG ISI by opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan during National Assembly session. The channel further said that war on terror and especially capacity building of Punjab police was also discussed.
