National Highways and Motorway Police (HN&MP) N-5 Central during last few days has arrested 12 criminals involved in different criminal activities and recovered weapons, liquor, mobiles, cash, as well as a snatched truck of seeds worth hundred of thousands of rupees and other valuables.
According to a spokesman, Motorway police arrested 12 accused naming Saifullah R/O Cheechawatni, Abdul Jabar R/O Naushahra Feroz, Muhammad Rafi R/O Phoolnagar, Anwar Ali R/O Naushahra Feroz, Nisar Ahmad R/O Naushahra Feroz, Noor Ahmad R/O Swabi, Suleman R/O Peshawar, Noorzada R/O Dir, Muhammad Naeem, Ali Afsar R/O Manshehra, Naeem Khan R/O Swabi and Khan Muhammad R/O Mansehra and recovered local made liquor, 02 pistols of 30 bore with 05 magzines and 23 alive rounds, cash worth Rs 32000, 06 mobiles and other valuables besides a snatched truck laden with agricultural seeds.
On the direction of DIG, N-5 Central handed over the arrested criminals and recovered items to local police for further legal actions. IG Motorway Dr Wasim Kausar has appreciated the efforts of Patrol Officers and further advised them to work hard with professionalism to maintain the standards set by the department, the spokesman added.
