'The Beast’ Lesnar survives match against AJ Styles

‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar has defeated the Phenomenal AJ Styles in a wildly entertaining 'Champion vs champion' exhibition at WWE Survivor Series.

Goldberg, Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns (kind of), Braun Strowman and now AJ Styles have all fallen to the one-man dynasty that has become Brock Lesnar.

The Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was clearly dominating the early part of the fight hitting GermanSuplexs and delivering knees to AJ Styles.

At one moment, it was complete dominance with Lesnar asking AJ to fight back. The Phenomenal somehow managed to deliver a few punches but the Beast was way powerful for him.

AJ once again showed some fight when Lesnar tried to deliver a knee to his face and only managed to hit on the turnbuckle. In the remaining part of the fight, the Universal Champion was on the receiving end.

AJ got the calf crusher locked in on the injured leg of Brock, the Beast somehow managed to overcome the pain and bounced AJ’s head to the mat several times to escape from the submission.

Both fighter were completely exhausted with AJ still had some gas left in the tank delivered a combination of moonsault and spring board 450 splash but still was unable to ground Lesnar for three count.

AJ once again tried to hit the phenomenal forearm after counting signature move of Lesnar the F5, but only managing to get the two count.

The WWE champion from SmackDown Live once again tried to hit the phenomenal forearm but was caught by Lesnar for the F5 that earned Raw’s Universal Champion a victory.

Now, the Beast is well on his way to headline his second WrestleMania since returning in 2012. It's a surprisingly low number considering all this dynasty talk but elusive victories over The Undertaker and Goldberg at WrestleMania put The Beast in a class of his own.

A one-on-one victory over Brock Lesnar carries more value than any championship in WWE. Like it or not, Roman Reigns is poised to secure said victory one year after defeating The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 33.
