There is complete consensus on ending controversy over finality of Prophethood: Ayaz
ISLAMABAD: A meeting of parliamentary leaders was held here at Parliament House on Wednesday with Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair.
Talking to media after the meeting, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said overall consensus on all issues has reached, but it will be finalized tomorrow (Thursday) because PPP was not present in Wednesday’s meeting.
He said there was a complete consensus on ending the controversy over finality of the Prophethood once and for all.
He said that this matter should also be taken up tomorrow.
He said all issues will likely be settled tomorrow (Thursday) when PPP joins the meeting and with consensus constitutional amendments will be tabled in the parliament.
He said the next meeting will be held at 2 p.m tomorrow (Thursday).
