KARACHI: Three ships arrived at port on Friday. 2nd December, 2011, carrying containers at QICT, Palm Oil at LCT, one rice loader at B.No.2
Berth occupancy was maintained at 50 percent at the Port on Friday where total number of seven ships namely M.V Ionian Sea, M.V Fisher-K M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.V MSC Catania, M.T Chembulk Savannah, M.T Patagonia Gas, M.V Zeynep-K, are currently occupying berths to load-offload cement, containers, Canola Seeds, palm oil , LPG was handled at port last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operation were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume of 87,617 tonnes comprising 53,091 tonnes imports, 34526 tonnes exports 4097 (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V MSC Robeta sailed on Friday morning M.V Safmarine Ngami, m.T Patagonia Gas sailed out to sea on Friday afternoon.
M.T Long Champ at EVTL, M.T Al Khalidia at FOTCO, arrived on 3rd December, 2011.
