President Pakistan Peoples Party-Sherpao (PPP-S) Aftab Ahmed Khan has demanded of the Government to hold All Parties Conference for peaceful resolution of Malakand issue instead of using force. Talking to the affectees of Bunar at a relief camp on Sunday, he said it was the need of the hour to resolve the issue peacefully.
Provincial President MPA Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, Central Leader Senator Haji Ghafran Khan, District President Al-Haj Fazal Wadood Khan and others were also present on the occasion. Besides giving fifty thousand cash to the affectees, he handed over a truckload of essential commodities to the District Administration, which was distributed among two hundred families.
Aftab Ahmed Khan said that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani took the decision in haste and ordered the operation in Malakand Division. He said it would be better to debate the issue at the Parliament before the operation. He said the Nazam-e-Adl regulation was enforced after the debate in the Parliament, which could not be withdrawn. He urged the government to resolve the problem immediately and convene All Parties conference.
