Salman Khan rescues Anupam Kher’s life

Salman Khan and veteran actor Anupam Kher were recently attending an award function, IIFA in New York when Kher suffered from a huge health shock but Salman rescued him, saving Anupam’s life.

Recently the actor talked about the incident that might have turned fatal if Salman wasn’t by his side: “Firstly, it was not a heart-related ailment, meaning a heart attack as the blind item in a tabloid implied. Why so coy about it? I’ve nothing to hide. We were all together in Salman Khan’s room in New York when I had a blackout. I had not eaten anything for one-and-a-half days — big mistake — and my sugar-level had gone down dangerously,” as per DNA India.

Fortunately Salman Khan was with the actor and took action seeing the situation: “He called the paramedics, who rushed in immediately. The laws in the US about medical emergencies during international events are very strict. No one can take them lightly. I told the paramedics that I was okay, and didn’t need any further treatment. But they insisted on a full medical investigation.”

After going through an array of tests, Anupam Kher declared that he’s in perfect health at the moment. The actor further added that the ‘Tubelight’ star proved to be his saving grace in this hard time: “He not only called for medical help, but he also remained on alert all through. I am blessed to have friends like him in the film industry.”
