SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were flat in morning trade Wednesday, as investors awaited the release of China's preliminary manufacturing data for November, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 0.03 percent, or 0.84 points, to 2,411.79.
