LONDON: European stock markets closed narrowly mixed on Wednesday, with London's FTSE-100 index of top companies slipping 0.15 percent to 5,509.02 points.
In Paris, the CAC-40 gained 0.52 percent to 3,064.90 points but in Frankfurt the DAX 30 was down 0.33 percent at 5,913.36 points.
