German stocks open 1.0 percent lower

FRANKFURT: German stocks were weaker at the start of trading on Wednesday amid ongoing concerns about Europe's debt crisis and the region's anaemic growth.

 

The blue-chip DAX 30 index opened at 5,873.29 points, down 59.85 points or 1.01 percent from the close on Tuesday.
