HONOLULU: Canada will enter talks on the creation of a vast trans-Pacific trade deal, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Sunday, the latest boost for the pact after Japan expressed interest.
Harper, who is attending an Asia-Pacific summit in Hawaii, told reporters that Canada would formally indicate later Sunday its interest in joining the negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
