SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were up 0.47 percent in morning trade Wednesday, with sentiment boosted by the release of economic data which showed inflation eased in October, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was up 11.65 points to 2,515.49.
China's key consumer price index rose 5.5 percent year-on-year in October, the government said shortly after the market opened, easing from an annual 6.1 percent in September.
