Pakistan to be load-shedding free country next year

electricity-power-plant-1024LAHORE: Energy Minister Punjab Choudhry Sher Ali Khan on Wednesday said up to 4000 megawatts electricity would be incorporated in national grid by next year.

"2018 will be the year of end of load-shedding from the country," he added.

Speaking to a delegation of elected representatives he said PML-N would win next general elections on the basis of its performance for development of the country. He said due to the efforts of government all the challenges facing the country had been overcome.

He recalled that when PML-N came into power in 2013, the nation was facing long hours power load-shedding which now had significantly BEEN reduced.

He said due to prudent economic policies of the incumbent government, Pakistan had emerged as economically strong country on globe.

The Minister said PTI chief Imran Khan was creating hurdles in the path of development of the country and hurling baseless allegations against PML-N leadership without any proof.
