Relief 1200 earthquake victims receive Turkish relief goods

CHAGAI: About 1200 earthquake victims of Dalbandin have received relief goods provided from Red Crescent Turkey, said Assistant Commissioner Dalbandin Tufail Ahmed Baloch on Friday.

We have delivered relief goods amongst 1200 earthquake victims, said the Assistant Commissioner Dalbandin adding that the ration was provided to over 200 families affected from earthquake hit the region on January 19, 2011.

Over 500 mud houses were affected from January 19 earthquake in Chagai district particularly in Dalbandin area, he said adding that however, the district administration and relevant departments had provided relief items to the affected families.

He thanked the Red Crescent Turkey for playing a significant role in relief provision to the affected area
