 KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 48088.37 points with a negative change of 139.38 and volume of 56,700,910 shares.
High and Low were 48366.04 and 48050.54 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 134,698,700 shares with 365 total traded companies out of which 126 were up 219 were down and 20 were unchanged.
REFINERY was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 17,608,400 shares. It was followed by FERTILIZER with a total traded volume of 15,885,800 shares.
The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum. with a volume of 14,697,500 and price per share of 22.99 (1.09), Azgard Nine with a volume 7,895,000 of price per share of 13.04 (0.03), Fauji Fert Bin with a volume 5,471,000 of price per share of 51.94 (0.19).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6169.98 (279.98), Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 9300.00 (100.00) and Atlas Battery share of 969.87 (30.87).
The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 4175.00 (215.00), Rafhan MaizeXDÂ Â Â Â with price per share of 7160.00 (102.06) and Colgate Palmolive share of 2000.00 (60.00).
