SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down 0.80 percent in morning trade on Tuesday, following overnight losses on US and European markets amid renewed concerns over the eurozone debt crisis, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 19.71 points at 2,448.54.
