KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48580.49 with a positive change of 59.74 and volume of 24,927,390 shares.

High and Low were 48591.68 and 48409.42 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 77,120,130 shares with 311 total traded companies out of which 153 were up, 154 were down and 4 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,434,250 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 10,696,200 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill with a volume of 5,862,000 and price per share of 23.88 (0.08), B.O.Punjab with a volume 4,009,500of price per share of 15.02 (0.24), Lotte Chemical with a volume 3,047,000of price per share of 10.60 (0.09).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2400.00 (50.00), Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 1041.96 (49.61) and ICI PakistanXD share of 1030.40 (49.06).

The top three decliners were Atlas Battery with price per share of 905.00 (45.00), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 1210.05 (25.66) and Unilever Foods per share of 5801.00 (24.00).
