imagePakistan didn't have the best of the starts at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), after they lost four wickets for 142 runs in the rain marred first day of the second Test of the three-match series.

However, it is too early to jump to any conclusions as Pakistan's fortunes at the MCG would greatly depend on their bowling and in particular the ability of leggie Yasir Shah, who at the moment is busy learning trade secrets by none other than the legendry Shane Warne.

Shah, regarded as one of the best leg spinners in the modern game, has been in regular contact with Warne, reported The Daily Telegraph.

"He asked me this morning about the MCG. I had a chat to him about pace and how you should bowl here," Warne said on Channel Nine.

"Hes got better (since Brisbane) and learnt some things. Hell enjoy bowling here."

On the other hand, Pakistans Sultan of Swing Wasim Akram, who is too on an Australian tour and attended the first days play at MCG with his Aussie in-laws, might well guide the hosts pace spearhead Mitchell Starc.

Akram, who is credited for helping Starc attaining the ability to swing the ball both ways, was all praise for the Australian pacer and said, "Hes my favourite bowler in world cricket right now Mitchell Starc."
