ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned Berlin Christmas market incident that killed 12 people dead and at least 48 injured.
According to latest media reports, the Prime Minister expressed his grief over the loss of precious lives and said Pakistan stands with Germany in its time of sorrow.
He said that Pakistan has also suffered a lot due to terrorist attacks. He added that every possible step is being taken to eradicate terrorism from the country.
A lorry ploughed into a busy Christmas market in Berlin on Monday, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens more in what police said was a suspected terror attack.
The incident which came less than a week before Christmas, ambulances and heavily armed police rushed to the area after the vehicle mounted the pavement of the market in a square popular with tourists, in horrific scenes reminiscent of Julys deadly truck attack in the French Riviera city of Nice.
