ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat would be briefed on the progress of development work on New Islamabad International Airport including construction of link roads.
The committee meeting would be held on December 29 under the Chairmanship of Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmmood at Parliament Lodges (OLD PIPS Hall), Islamabad.
The committee would also be briefed on environmental pollution in the federal capital and preventative steps taken by Capital Development Authority (CDA) in this regard.
The committee would also take up the issue of repair and maintence work of roads of Sectors I-9, I-10 and IJP Road Islamabad, said a Notice of Senate Secretariat on Monday.
