RAWALPINDI: A candlelit vigil was held here on Friday to pay tribute to martyrs of Army Public School (APS).
The event was organised to express solidarity with the victims of Peshawar carnage on second anniversary of the tragedy.
Air Defense Command, Regional Director Lt. Col Mushtaq, Principal APS Lt. Col Ahmed Saeed Saddique, a large number of students and their parents were present on the occasion.
Posters condemning the brutal terrorist attack were displayed.
Meanwhile, hundreds of schoolchildren, people from civil society, media and citizens took part in the function.
Special prayers were also offered by the participants to express solidarity with the parents of the martyred children.
