RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46483.24 with a positive change of 297.97 and volume of 100,793,410 shares.

High and Low were 46541.83 and 46141.79 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 185,491,450 shares with 348 total traded companies out of which 224 were up, 111 were down and 13 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,877,200 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE COMPOSITE with a total traded volume of 17,980,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Pak Int.Bulk with a volume of 10,725,000 and price per share of 35.68 (1.69), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 9,440,000 of price per share of 16.56 (0.15), Fauji CementXD with a volume 7,914,000 of price per share of 42.00 (0.51).

The top three advancers were Hinopak Motor with price per share 1580.26 (75.25), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2150.00 (49.00) and Pak TobaccoXD share of 1130.00 (32.00).

The top three decliners were Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 1111.00 (43.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4752.00 (32.10) and Lucky Cement per share of 858.00 (13.64).
