Major General Saeed appointed DG Rangers Sindh: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Major General Mohammad Saeed has been appointed as Director General Rangers Sindh, according to an ISPR statement.

According to ISPR statement, Major General Nadeem Anjum has been appointed Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan.

Both Mohammad Saeed and Nadeem Anjum were promoted to Major General from the rank of Brigadier in January 2016. Major General Mohammad Saeed will be replacing Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar, who was appointed as Chief of General Staff (CGS)

Also, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar was posted as the Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) replacing Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar.

The major transfers and postings came days after Gen Qamar Bajwa assumed charge as Chief of Army Staff.
