Abdul Rehman aka Bhola remanded in policy custody

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Wednesday handed over the wanted accused in Baldia's garment factory fire incident to the police for physical remand till December 19.

The frontman accused of the incident Abdul Rehman alias Bhola was produced before an ATC judge here.

Bhola pleaded not guilty of the tragedy in the court and termed the allegations as unfounded and baseless.

Later, the court handed over the accused to the policy custody.

It is pertinent to mention that Bhola was arrested in Bangkok and taken to the court by a team of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

He is considered main accused of the Baldia factory incident which took place in 2012 in which around 250 factory workers were burnt alive.
