RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 46185.27 points with a positive change of 327.38 and volume of 201,035,510 shares.

High and Low were 46268.44 and 45602.64 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 360,776,730 shares with 405 total traded companies out of which 158 were up 232 were down and 15 were unchanged.

TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 49,028,500 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 36,678,150 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dolmen City ReitXD with a volume of 30,792,500 and price per share of 11.00 (0.05), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 29,691,500 of price per share of 45.62 (2.15), B.O.Punjab with a volume 17,158,500 of price per share of 17.04 (0.17).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4784.10 (81.77), Philip Morris Pak. price per share of 2400.00 (73.79) and Mari Petroleum share of 1373.05 (65.38).

The top three decliners were Indus Motor Co with price per share of 1587.28 (22.57), Ismail IndXD with price per share of 371.00 (18.98) and Shield Corp. share of 505.00 (17.40).
