RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 45976.63 with a positive change of 118.74 and volume of 109,547,550 shares.

High and Low were 46050.50 and 45602.64 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 189,304,840 shares with 361 total traded companies out of which 140 were up, 200 were down and 21 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,865,000 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 22,221,550 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 12,827,000 and price per share of 17.11 (0.24), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 7,032,000 of price per share of 44.05 (0.58), Prud Mod.1stXD with a volume 6,888,500 of price per share of 4.15 (0.39).

The top three advancers were Mari Petroleum with price per share 1373.05 (65.38), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 1312.90 (54.15) and Colgate Palmolive share of 1670.00 (50.00).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4650.00 (52.33), Pak TobaccoXD with price per share of 1070.00 (35.55) and Ismail IndXD per share of 371.00 (18.98).
