Pakistan businessmen and industrialists attended in good number the Resource Indonesia 2004 - the 19th National Merchandise and Commodity Show of Indonesia - held in Jakarta from the 13th October to the 17th October and their participation was very successful, said.
Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi Entjim Herrianto on Thursday on return from Jakarta where he also attended the trade fair and assisted Pakistani industrialists at the fair along with Consul Economic Hikmat Moelyawan.
The Indonesian consul general said that commodity show bad also been a great success with record number of trade visitors from abroad and within Indonesia, resulting in good inter-exchange at signing of exports orders.
The consul general said that the fair this year was more expansive than last year and attended by more visitors. It also provided an opportunity to the Pakistani trade and industry visitors to gauge well the progress by Indonesia and the products it offers for export as also the items Indonesia needs to import. Some 30 Pakistani businessmen and industrialists attended the Resource Indonesia 2004 show and this would lead to further expansion of trade between Indonesia and Pakistan.
The diplomat also extended greetings on the advent of Ramazan to Pakistani friends here and prayed for stronger Pakistani-Indonesia ties.
