LONDON: European stock markets closed mixed on Monday, with London's FTSE 100 Index of leading shares losing 0.05 percent to 6,060.09 points, on an easing of political tensions in Egypt and with markets digesting economic data.
In Paris, the CAC 40 was also down slightly, by 0.11 percent to 4,096.62 points in a quiet session, while in Frankfurt the DAX gained 0.34 percent to end the day at 7,396.63 points.
