KARACHI: Advisor of Federal Ombudsman's Regional Office, Muhammad Yameen has asked K-Electric to avoid over billing to citizens. Over billing causes financial burden.
He expressed these views while hearing complaints of citizens regarding over billing by K-Electric, said a press release issued here on Friday.
General Manager, K-Electric Maroof Solangi, Coordinator, Aqeel Muhmammad and PRO Regional Office of Federal Ombudsman, Behleem Builqees Jaan were also present on the occasion.
Muhammad Yameen said that the citizens are seriously facing issues due to the over billing by K-Electric, that is why the ombudsman have received several complaints.
The press release further added that some cases of over billing to the citizens were sent to the Ombudsman Court. The court after determination of facts ordered deductions in bills.
