FRANKFURT : German stocks rose surged more than 4.0 percent in mid-afternoon trading on news that the world's leading
FRANKFURT: German stocks rose surged more than 4.0 percent in mid-afternoon trading on news that the world's leading central banks would provide the markets with additional dollars in coordinated action.
Shortly after the announcement, the blue-chip DAX 30 index surged to an intraday high of 5,566.58 points, a gain of 4.2 percent on the day.
